The water is the thing: clear enough to see the bottom in ten metres, and warm from June. Most of the best swimming is off the boat in a cove rather than from a beach at all.
The captain decides, and he decides early. If he calls it off you choose — another day that suits you, or your money back in full. You are never left holding a booking you cannot use.
Up to ten on the larger boats and eight on the Saxdor. That is a legal limit rather than a comfort one, and the boats carry it easily.
